Description

• Seeking a character designer / digital illustrator to create a stylized version of a personal brand, The Egyptian Cook.

• This is a one-time project focused on developing consistent, high-quality illustrations for use across social media, website, and branding

Scope of Work

• Create four stylized illustrated portraits of The Egyptian Cook, each with a different pose and expression

• Use provided real photos as reference for each pose and expression

• Match a semi-realistic illustrated style consistent with the provided reference

• Maintain a consistent character identity across all four images

• Deliver high-quality digital assets (transparent background preferred)

• Provide one initial concept sketch (based on provided photo references) for approval to confirm likeness and style before proceeding

• Work must follow a structured process including rough sketches, refinement, and final delivery (see Process Requirements below)

Process Requirements

• Work must be completed and submitted in stages: rough sketch → refined sketch → final

• Progress updates are required at each stage

• The artist must be able to execute specific revisions based on feedback

• Failure to follow this process may result in termination of the project

Style Requirement (Critical)

• Semi-realistic illustrated style (not cartoon, not hyper-realistic)

• Must closely resemble the real person (facial structure, beard, proportions)

• Clean, polished rendering with subtle shading and defined features

• Slightly enhanced/idealized look while remaining recognizable

• Professional, modern “animated portrait” feel

• The goal is to match the likeness of the real photo with the style and finish of the reference image
